MEET THE DESIGNER

David Goldstein has worked Off Broadway at New World Stages, Daryl Roth Theatre, Acorn Theatre, Lion Theatre, Minetta Lane Theatre, and others. He recently made his West End Debut at the Ambassador Theatre. His designs have been seen across the country from Los Angeles, to Iowa, to NYC. Goldstein was born and raised in Los Angeles, California, where he discovered the theatrical world at a young age. His earliest theatre memory was seeing the national touring company of Fiddler on the Roof, at four years old.
David received his BFA in Theatre Design and Production from York University in Toronto, Ontario, where he worked as a designer and electrician throughout his 4 years of education. Upon graduating, he continued his design work in Los Angeles at many venues including the Noho Arts Center, El Portal Theatre, Santa Monica Playhouse, Hudson Theatre, Whitefire Theatre, and many more. Regionally, he has designed in Windsor, ON, West Virgina, Iowa, Toronto, Pennsylvania, Los Angeles, New York, and London.
David is currently based out of New York City, and is designing off-Broadway, regionally, corporate events, restaurant consultations, weddings, and anything he can get his hands on.

Matthew Herman is a recent graduate from UCSD with an MFA in Scenic Design. Jaclyn Meloni is a Scenic Design assistant and Scenic Painter. Originally from Orange California, she studied at The University of North Carolina School of The Arts and graduated in 2014. She has worked in NYC and CA, and has been part of the DGD team since 2017. Jaclyn has worked on shows such as That Golden Girls Show, Elevator, Church and State, West Side Story, Legally Blonde, and The Very Hungry Caterpillar. Jaclyn works in Vectorworks, Sketchup, Photoshop, and hand painting. She has one cat named Alice that she likes to bring to central park on a leash.

Jen Fok is a New York City-based Lighting Designer for theatre and dance. ANNIE YOUNG and Goldstein go back 20+ years to their childhoods in Los Angeles, where they did musical theatre together at Golden Performing Arts Center. Annie Young is a NY-based actor. She moved to NY to attend NYU Tisch School of Drama, where she focused on musical theatre, film acting, and Shakespeare/Jacobean text. In addition to performing, she has recently written her first short film which is scheduled to film in the spring of 2020. She is currently represented by Michal Zecher at MZMGMTNY.
